Jonathan Travis

Jonathan Travis is a student at SHSU and will be graduating with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. He is passionate about fitness and progress in all aspects of life. Jonathan is a certified personal training with ACE (American Council on Exercise), specializing in weightlifting, bodybuilding, and powerlifting.

Jack Boucher

Jack is a certified personal trainer with NASM. He is in the US Army Reserves and currently studying criminal justice at SHSU.

Becky Zelewski (Supervisor)

2010 SHSU Graduate with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology. Certified NASM Personal Trainer & Crossfit Level 1 Trainer. PT Supervisor & teaches eXtreme Classes. Her original sports background is competitive Jump Rope. “I want give others the opportunity to become their best self. Whether that is helping you to lose weight, gain strength, work on functional skills or just improve overall quality of life, I want to help others to better themselves through fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Gunnar Thompson

Gunnar grew up playing basketball and baseball. He played baseball collegiately. He holds a bachelor's in Kinesiology: Clinical Exercise Science. He is also a NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NASM- Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist; and Certified Physical Preparation Specialist. Gunnar enjoys training for strength and will compete in powerlifting meets in the future.

Jaden Prudhomme

Jaden is a Certified Personal Training with ISSA. He is currently studying Kinesiology at Sam Houston State University.

Melissa Benard

Certified ASFA Personal Trainer, Gym Manager, and ZUMBA Instructor. Double major in HR & Management from SHSU. Wife & mother of 5 energetic boys & a precious daughter. “Life sometimes can get the best of us. Pulled in 20 different directions until we are at our wits end. I have found it’s important to make time for me & find ways to decompress. Working out does this whether in a group class or 1-on-1 training, it helps me to manage this crazy fun filled life in a positive & healthy way!"
