What type of information do we collect?

Iron Works Health Club (IWHC) receives, collects and stores any information you enter on our website or provide to us through your membership agreement for the gym. The website collects Internet protocol (IP) addresses used to connect your computer to the internet, login, email address, password, computer and connection information and payment history for information inputted on the Membership Portal. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. IWHC also collects personal identifiable information (name, email, passwords, communications), payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, recommendations and personal profile.

How do we collect information?

When you submit a question through one of our website forms or sign up for membership, as a part of the process, IWHC collects personal information. Your personal information will only be used for managing your membership account at IWHC.

Why do we collect such personal information?

We collect personal information for the following purposes:

To facilitate memberships and gym usage
To provide members with customer assistance and technical support.
To be able to contact prospects and members with general information or specific account information pertaining to IWHC and IWHC services (Kids Zone, Personal Training, Swim Lessons, etc.)

How do we store, use, share and disclose your site visitors’ personal information?

The IWHC website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides IWHC with the online platform that allows us to publicize services provided. IWHC membership information is stored with Compete by Jonas. Your data may be stored through Wix.com and Compete data storage, databases, and applications. Personal data is on secure servers behind a firewall.

Third Party Data Processors and Service Providers

IWHC does not sell, disclose, or share personal data with third parties. The only third party service providers used by IWHC are under contract with IWHC directly for payment processing and membership communications via text, phone call and email.

Children's Privacy

IWHC services are not directed at anyone under the age of 12. The only instances of collecting information for individuals under the age of 12 are specifically for Kids Zone, Swim Lessons and Personal Training requiring permission from a parent/guardian. IWHC does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18 without permission of a parent/guardian.

How do we communicate with our site visitors?

IWHC may contact you via email, text, or phone to notify you about your account, answer questions submitted through the website, troubleshoot problems with your membership or account, resolve disputes, collect payments owed, send updates about the gym, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to address your membership agreement, applicable national laws and any agreement IWHC has with you. For these purposes IWHC may contact you via email, telephone, text messages and postal mail.
